Koniec roku to także koniec sezonu, podsumowania, nagrody, statystyki i im podobne. Poprzedni wpis poświęciłem "Złotym Płozom", dziś rozwinę temat One - Blading Awards 2013, których wyniki zostały ogłoszone wczoraj na stronie One Magazine.

I`m proud to announce the winners of the first-ever ONE Blade Awards. Why am I so proud of that ? Because I was invited to participate in an entirely open nomination process to select the top 3 contenders for each category and to vote for the best one. I`m really glad, that the "Skater of the year" award evolved so strong, I think it fits the needs of our comunity much better now. The thing, which supprised me was the fact, that almost all winners in all categories are from North America. OK, it`s where blading was born, but I think that domination time of that area has finished some time ago. Europe is really strong nowdays, and I`m guessing that Asian bladers will overtake the business in a few years ... Anyway it was a great honour to vote and be part of the whole process, check out some pictures of the winners!
